Add professional Hollywood-style camera movement to your next project with the Fotodiox Pro SlideCam. The ultra-compact SlideCam adds dynamic horizontal, vertical and diagonal movement to your videos. Use the SlideCam for dramatic video cinematography or slow motion moving photo captures. The SlideCam has a double interior rail system that uses four precision bearings to add smooth movement to any project. You can even adjust the bearing tension to customize the CamSlider to your exact needs.
The SlideCam can be used on any surface with the included adjustable legs. Multiple mounting options also let you attach the SlideCam to a single tripod, or a pair of tripods or light stands for dramatic tilts and angles. Everything folds away neatly into the included compact carrying case, and you're ready to add dramatic pro cinematography to your next shoot.
Note: New sliders may occasionally arrive with a strip of lubricant in the bottom of the slider. This lubricant is a part of the manufacturing process, and is there to protect the slider's brakepad during shipping. We recommend using a paper towel to wipe out the lubricant (make sure to use a towel that will not leave fibers behind). The bearings on the slider itself are permanently sealed, and do not require lubrication. We do not recommend lubricating the bearings or the rails as it may attract dust and dirt to the exposed rails, and diminish performance. Customers have reported that in order to reduce noise even further, they have used either 'Pledge Furniture Spray' or 'All Purpose Silicone Lubricant'. Both will easily wipe clean from the surface of the rails (plus, Pledge smells great!).
