It supports any input to any output. The two outputs can be the same sharing the same input or be different from two different inputs.
It features three audio EDID settings: 5.1CH, 2.0CH and ADV (Advance Audio). It can support 5.1CH surround sound (Dolby Digital/DTS) for home theater receiver through optical SPDIF output in 5.1CH mode.
When incoming HDMI audio is 2CH stereo, both SPDIF and 3.5mm audio outputs contain the same stereo audio signal as HDMI output A.
In ADV mode, the audio output format will be decided by the audio decoding capability of receiving device. For example the matrix will output 7.1CH audio when the output connects to an HDMI AV Receiver that support 7.1CH audio decoding (the HD source can output 7.1CH audio signal).
