The Hitech WOW Soft Center Beauty Filter is a soft focus filter specifically designed for portraiture and head shots. In the center of the filter plane is a grade 3 softening filter; this softening density gradually feathers to grade 2, then to grade 1 near the edges of the frame. This gradation helps to centralize the attention, where the subject's face is most commonly positioned. The most intense softening in the center will help to correct for blemishes and wrinkles without affecting the background of the image as much. This filter is one of a range of 4mm glass filter designed to fit both standard 4 Inch matte boxes for video and film, but also the Hitech Photographic 100mm Modular Holder. The holder is designed to accept the Wider glass filters as well as standard resin filters, allowing for the use of filters which cannot be made in just resin.
