The Grad kit 2 contains three of the most popular grads used to provide warming effects for your landscape images - Tobacco 2, Coral 2, and Straw 2 all in soft edge. Save over 20% compared with purchasing the filters separately. The Tobacco soft edge color graduated filter is a warm brownish orange giving a "tobac" effect. The Straw soft edge graduated filter is a vibrant gold/yellow warming color. The Coral soft edge color graduated effects filter is a pale pink color. Coral Filters can be considered as both Color Correction and Color Effects Filters and are used to warm cool lighting situations such as overcast days. All three filters are available in three densities (1, 2, and 3) but for the kit we have chosen the most often used density of 2. Soft edge grads have a smooth transition from clear to ND. Hard edge grads have a more defined hard lined transition and are usually used for longer focal lengths. Different graduated color filters can be used in combination together or with solid color or neutral density filters to give interesting bespoke effects. This 85mm filter kit is usable with Hitech 85mm holder systems or any 85mm (3.35 Inch/P Size) holder. The kit is also available in 100mm, 150mm and 165mm sizes. Hitech filters are made from the highest quality 1.5mm optical resin.
